Once again, my job takes me to Jakarta, an annual short course about government public relation. It's all about how to manage things related to media and institution's (bad) news so it won't misinterpreted.

4 December, i was assigned to attend a technical meeting that related to hospital management. 3 days of meeting plus 1 written test is very exhausting. There's not many sketchwork during this period even though about two times spare time gathering with people from Indonesia's Sketchers; with Atit Dwi Indarti, Toni Malakian, Azwan, Kris Wardana, and Igna in the first opportunity and with Tony Malakian, Yoso Bayudono, Pakcik Ahmad in the second one.

after meeting, Atit invite me to sketch around Cikini. This is my first time to sketch in a relatively dark situation..not quiet  easy i suppose since the observation to detail is limited:)

tour of duty_ Sukabumi-Jakarta

20 November, i was assigned to go to Sukabumi for a duty related to hospital management and marketting. It was, for me, another sketch tour to practice is waiting:) mostly here are human theme still a very challenging object, subjective but simple. More simple than sketching a building or architectural theme that takes time which is i don't have that luxury. But, in some occasion architectural theme, mechanical stuff still a very tempting objects to sketch.
The route of our journey (there were 4 of us leaving from Nunukan) is Nunukan- Tarakan- Jakarta- Sukabumi- Jakarta- Tarakan- Nunukan.

sketching while travelling is a fascinating challenge, the fun and fear (of making line mistakes) come together accompany with the bumpy ride and silent-but-creepy audiences:) Here is few of my sketches during the journey to Jakarta_

 travelling now has become one of space to sketch. The main object can be anything, human activity still good to explore:). Having dinner with my old friends, some of them i havent seen for 17 years, talk about everything until late at night. So exited that i forgot to bring my sketch tools, so i sketch on cigarette paper an papers from my friend.

Travelling now has become a good opportunity to test my passion in sketching. best objects are human and their activities. Many movement so we have to sketch them fast, as fast and as good as possible. It takes time no longer than 10-15 minutes then finish it another spare time:)
